It’s almost time for Vacation Bible School at Centre Grove!
VBS will take take place Monday through Friday, July 9–13, 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. VBS is for ages 3 through 6th Grade.
This year’s theme is “Sky.” At “Sky,” kids will discover everything is possible with God! “Sky” is filled with Bible-learning experiences. Children will see, hear, touch, play team building games, sing cool Bible songs and eat tasty treats as part of a few of the “Sky” activities!
Kids will discover how to see evidence of God in everyday life—”God-sightings”!
Kids will also participate in a hands-on mission project through Operation Kid-to-Kid that will let kids in our community show God’s love to children in Mali, Africa.

Our next free monthly community dinner will be an outdoor cookout, and it will take place on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 17, at 4:30 p.m.
Come out and enjoy a cookout. We will also have lots of games for kids!

This Sunday, April 8, we will begin at 7:00 a.m. with the sunrise worship service, led by the youth group. Immediately following the sunrise, there will be a breakfast in the fellowship hall. Everyone is invited!
Sunday school classes for all ages will meet at 9:00 a.m., and then at 10:15 a.m., we will gather for our Easter celebration!
Easter celebrates the greatest event in human history—the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. We will worship God for his mighty acts and also consider its implications for our lives. Pastor Randy will focus on Matthew 28 in a message called, “Fearless!”

Our next monthly Praise & Prayer Gathering at Centre Grove will be Sunday, March 11 at 6:30 p.m.
Each month, we’re focusing on a different characteristic of God. This month, we’ll focus on wisdom.
In the book, God as He Longs for You to See Him, Chip Ingram explains how a proper understanding of the wisdom of God has caused him to look at circumstances differently and to experience progressive spiritual growth. Based on what he has discovered he asserts, “until we grasp what it means that God is all-wise, we will never be able to trust and rest in his wise plan for our life.”
Everyone is welcome as we learn more about the wisdom of God!
During Lent, the period of time from Ash Wednesday (Feb 22) until Easter (Apr 8), small groups will focus on “24 Hours That Changed the World!” based on a book and video by Adam Hamilton. Each week, we’ll watch a video segment, and then discuss it.

Sit beside him at the Last Supper.
Pray with him in Gethsemane.
Follow him to the cross.
Desert him. Deny him.
Experience the Resurrection.
The study is designed to help you experience and understand the significance of Jesus’ suffering and death in a way you never have before. Groups meet on Wednesday evening, Thursday evening, and there will be a Sunday morning group that meets during Sunday School. If you’re interested in participating in one of these small groups during Lent, please contact the church office at 765-6031.
Once a month during the fall and spring, we conduct Praise & Prayer Gathering at Centre Grove. The next one is 6:30 p.m., Sunday, February 12.
